Duties
Electronics Engineers for Production Engineering install systems and facilities for energy-supply technology; measurement, control and laboratory technology; communications, signaling, drive and lighting technology. They start up and maintain these systems and facilities.
Typical fields of application include energysupply systems and networks, building installations and networks, operating equipment, production and process-engineering systems, switching and control systems, and electrotechnical equipment. Electronics Engineers for Production Engineering perform their activities independently and taking into account various safety provisions and agree on the work with upstream and downstream departments.

Three and a half years

Mittlere Reife (intermediate high school certificate)
Interested in electrical systems and IT
Interested in sciences
Interested in manual work
High willingness to learn and highly motivated
Good knowledge of English
